About Fleas
Fleas can be found nearly everywhere. They reproduce quickly, and this can lead to a massive infestation of the environment in just a few weeks’ time. As parasites, they live on your dog’s skin and drink their blood. Flea protection is a must, no matter what type of dog you have.
About Ticks
Ticks are parasites that feed on your dog’s blood in order to reproduce. Because they will bite a dog’s skin under the fur, they can be hard to spot. There are a number of steps that are recommended to protect your dog from ticks, including regular, monthly administration of tick control every month of the year.
NexGard® Brand Products
When it comes to parasite protection for the dogs and cats in your home, NexGard® Brand Products have them covered. For dogs, there’s NexGard PLUS chews or NexGard chews. And for cats, there’s NexGard COMBO topical solution. Ask your vet to learn more about each of these products.
